A teenager who was considered one of the most wanted people in the state following a 2023 murder that police say he committed was captured in Worcester on Monday, April 1, authorities announced.
Kahmari T. Price, age 17, was wanted for a fatal shooting in Brockton on Feb. 26, 2023, and has been on the run since, State Police said. Troopers, Worcester police, and Brockton officers tracked him to a home on West Boylston St. and arrested him without issue after 9:30 a.m.

One of the two men accused of killing Chasity Nunez and her 11-year-old daughter Zella will not fight extradition from San Diego, California, and will be returned to Worcester to stand trial for the fatal shooting, officials said on Friday, March 15.
Dejan Belnavis, 27, and Karel Mangual, 28, are accused of ambushing the Nunezes as they sat in their SUV near the intersection of Lisbon Street and Englewood Avenue on March 5, Worcester police said.

Two New York men are accused of staging at least eight fake robberies so the store owners could receive immigration benefits, authorities said.
Long Island resident Rambhai Patel, age 36, of Farmingdale, and New York City Balwinder Singh, age 39, of Queens, are charged with conspiracy to commit visa fraud, the U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts said. FBI agents said they linked the men to four robberies in Massachusetts, two in Pennsylvania, and one in Kentucky and Tennessee.
